Act #57: Tissue Box
from September 24, 2012
Bella lost a contest today to another dog that balanced a cupcake on his head. She feels pretty down about it, especially since she’s balanced many cupcakes on her head…. Along with 50+ other objects and still lost the contest. It’s ok to cry, Bella. It’s ok to cry.

Act #38: Pumpkin
from October 29, 2011
Bella is not sure what is worse: balancing pumpkins or dressing up in a costume for Halloween… (so far, she doesn’t think pumpkin balancing is all that great. Hate to break the news that this is probably the better of the two options….)
Act #37: Rubber Ducky
from October 19, 2011

Act #36: (mini) Rachel the Pig
from July 31, 2011
Because I’ve been thinking about and missing Seattle lately, and because I had such a wonderful time visiting my friends Lindsey and Rainer while there, I thought it only appropriate that Bella help me reminisce by balancing this mini Rachel the Pig piggy bank.
Rachel is Seattle’s largest bronze piggy bank and happily resides at the main entrance to Pike Place. The...

Act #31: Seattle Space Needle (pencil sharpener)
from May 30, 2011
After waiting 20+ years, since about the age of 7, I finally had the chance to visit the city of my dreams/heart, Seattle, WA. So it was fairly imperative that my dog Bella balance something that resembled Seattle. And since the real thing can’t quite fit in my suitcase, this pencil sharpener replica will have to do.
Sorry for the crappy photo quality. I forgot to turn...

Act #29: kitchy salt & pepper shakers
from April 24, 2011
Firstly, Happy Easter everyone!!!!! I used to collect yellow duck and chick themed things, and this one is of my favorites. It’s actually a set of salt and pepper shakers. (you can pull the chick off the egg and fill each with salt and pepper.) So she’s really balancing two things here! Multitasking!
Act #28: bag of coffee beans
from April 14, 2011
I’m not a huge coffee drinker. I don’t even own a coffee machine. I don’t think I even know how to MAKE coffee! BUT. I am an amateur truffle maker / chocolatier, and want to try my hand at chocolate-covered coffee beans. And since Bella managed to balance a bag of beans, I’ll take it as a sign that it might come out alright.

Act #27: license plate frame
from March 23, 2011
When I first got my car, my mom insisted that I use plate frames, and I very reluctantly obliged (reluctant cause they were the ugly frames from the car dealers). She said I should have them so the license plate wouldn’t bend, but I didn’t believe it could happen. This past October, I was due for new plates so I opted NOT to put frames on them. And what happens...
Act #26: paper bunny ears
from March 19, 2011
My goddaughter Emma (and her sister, my niece, Georgia) invited me to a sneak preview of the movie “Hop” that a parent of a student from her school arranged. At the screening, they gave us all bunny ears to wear for a picture. Only natural that it’d be the next thing for Bella to balance.
Act #25: Notre Dame souvenir duck.
from March 17, 2011
So this was SUPPOSED to be a St. Patty’s Day themed act, but when I stopped by a store on the way home, I couldn’t find anything St. Patty themed, nor Irish, nor anything of a leprechaun matter (not even a small box of Lucky Charms cereal). So, we went with this Notre Dame duck that my friend Mandy gave me when she was a student there. Close enough? :-P Happy...

Act #24: New ‘colorful cubes’ collar
from February 27, 2011
I think it’s going to be a new tradition that Bella balances a new collar before she gets to wear it. This one is from etsy seller Silly Buddy. The owner Hande is very sweet and packages the order in such a lovely way. Also, I can’t believe this is a handmade collar!!! It’s incredibly well crafted!
Act #23: Valentine’s Day Chocolates
from February 14, 2011
Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day, from me and my bubby love!!
Act #22: Kong toy
from February 12, 2011
Bella doesn’t really play with this toy much (probably cause I never stuff food in it) but she’s good at balancing it! …. And kind of looks like a unicorn!
Act #21: fake snowball

Christina posted a pic of her puggle Tootsie balancing a carrot on her nose while standing, in an attempt to challenge Bella. Well … As her card says, “CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Your move, Tootsie! ♥ -B”
Kathy’s Comment: Actually, it might take Bella a while to get this trick down just right. (I was REALLY lucky to get this one pic, and it’s not that...

Act #16: egg
from December 11, 2010
My friend (and owner of a cute puggle named Tootsie) Christina wanted to see it, but I wasn’t sure it could be pulled off. Guess bella showed me!
